Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Competition in today’s market with new products having shorter life cycles and growing customers’ expectations has forced many companies to focus their attention and invest in their supply chains. Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the integration of key business processes from end user through original suppliers that provides products, services and information that adds value for customers and other stakeholders. This programme addresses these issues covering various aspects of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management and enables the participants to understand the basic issues and decision areas in logistics and supply chain management. The basic objectives of the programme are: To give participants an understanding that the problems and issues within the respective fields of supply chain are invariably complex, and require clear reasoning and analysis, in order to derive an appropriate course of action. To incorporate and learn the critical elements of Logistics and Supply Chain Management processes. To equip participants with the required depth and balance of technical and managerial competencies such that they will be able to function successfully in their chosen field.

PROGRAM FEES AND OTHER EXPENSES
- The fee for the programme will be 75,000 plus GST.
- This will include tuition fees and other infrastructure necessities as required for an effective academic program.
- Travel, Boarding and other expense in case of Residential nomination Charges for the single occupancy will be Rs.4000+GST / per day / per candidate.
- Twin sharing will be Rs. 2400/-+GST per day / per participant including all meals over and above the non residential program fee.

Dr T A S Vijayaraghavan

Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Dr.T.A.S.Vijayaraghavan is a Professor of Production, Operations and Decision Sciences and Information Systems at XLRI Jamshedpur, India and is a Member of the Governing Board of XLRI Jamshedpur. He is a doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore after his M.Stat and PGD SQC&OR from the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi. His research papers appeared in the Transportation Research, Computer & Operations Research, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Transportation Journal, Transportation Research Procedia, Annals of Management Science, Logistics Spectrum, International Journal of Public Sector Management and others. His research interests are in the areas of Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Supply Chain Risk Management, Logistics Management and Transportation Planning and Management and guided many doctoral students in these areas. He is also one of the Senior Editors for the Journal of Business Logistics and on the editorial committee of few other International and Indian Journals. He serves as a member in the Board of Studies of the Indian Institute of Materials Management and Member of Academic Councils of few Management institutions . He is presently the Coordinator of the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at XLRI Jamshedpur. Authored a book recently on “Supply Chain Analytics” recently published by Wiley India.

Dr Sayan Mukherjee

Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Dr. Sayan Mukherjee is a faculty member in the Operations and Decision Science area at XLRI -Xavier School of Management, Delhi-NCR Campus, India. He earned his doctorate in Production, Operations, and Decisions Sciences from XLRI-Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, India. He has worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. His research and teaching interests include operations and supply chain modeling, multi-criteria decision-making, and applying innovative modeling techniques to business problems to derive actionable insights. Before joining academics, he had considerable experience in management consulting with Price waterhouse Coopers (PwC).
