    ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Think Critically, Decide Swiftly, and Communicate Effectively

Today’s managers operate in a volatile, complex, uncertain and ambiguous world where the available information is either incomplete or inaccurate. Thus decision making becomes extremely challenging. A failure in effective decision-making will leave many organizations behind and let their rivals takeover them. Therefore, to succeed in today’s competitive environment, managers need to be decisive and mentally agile. They need to follow an objective, rational and structured approach to make logical decisions, which makes it imperative for the managers to objectively analyze the available information, develop alternatives and evaluate each alternative on the basis of evaluation criteria before drawing conclusion. This approach to thinking is called Critical Thinking. When managers think critically, it equips them with the ability to communicate clearly and eliminate ambiguity. They are able to communicate their crucial messages in a way that delivers the maximum impact.
